A Love that gave...

When the question is asked, "what does your love look like?" the reason is because many claim to follow the true and living God, yet the love many profess to having, appears differently. The bible tells us in John 3:16, For God so love the world, He gave... The love the father extended to us was without judgement, without insults, without blame, He gave his son, He gave us new mercy, He gave us grace, etc. His love caused Him to give. Yet the love that many claim is a replica to the love Christ has, has gotten many running from, rather than running to the church. 1 Corinthian 13:4-8, is a constant reminder of what love is supposed to look like as well as feel like. Love is patient, love is kind, love never gives up, just to name a few. So the conversation today is how can love be the same, but act so differently? John 13:35 says, By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” In the name of love, what would it take for our love to look and feel like Christ's love?
